Hi all,

Today's post is all about this Summer chic outfit and nothing says summer chic - and beats the heat - better than a maxi dress. Let's dive right in:

Ralph Lauren Maxi Dress Look

Miami can get quite hot in the summer months and that's why when I was thinking of what to wear, I went straight for this neutral-colored maxi dress from Ralph Lauren. I love wearing dresses because it's an easy uniform and saves a lot of time when you're unsure what to wear. They're also a sort of a blank canvas because after you put one on, it is up to you: Do you make it dressy? Casual? Add accessories or keep it simple?

This look was worn for a casual week day affair, filled with running errands, blogger meetings, and having a sushi lunch with my mom. Since that meant I would be doing a lot of walking, I selected these metallic colored Birkenstocks from Shoes.com.

Since I decided to go with another neutral for the shoes, I decided to stick with vibrant colors for the rest of the accessories. This helped avoid me looking like a complete wash out in only beige. For bag, I choose a gorgeous green and brown crossbody that can also be worn as a clutch if you remove the strap. A pop of color is a Miami must. That's why I chose a pair of pretty tassle orange earrings. To finish off the look, I added a Panama Hat, which you should always have at least one in your closet; they always add a bit fun to your outfit!

If you like the look, you can shop it right now via @stylinity.

As always, thank you for reading!

xoxo,

Christie
