Ecuadorian-born designer Ximena Kavalekas discovered her passion for fashion early on, leading her to study at Polimoda in Florence. She spent six years in Italy, representing luxury brands and immersing herself in the world of artisanal craftsmanship.

After moving to the United States in 2000, she continued her career in Miami and, in 2015, launched her namesake brand.
