Ximena Kavalekas is an Ecuadorian fashion designer who discovered her passion for fashion and design at early age; while studying at Polimoda in Florence, Italy she started working as an intern at Gucci and then representing Italian brands in Miami.

She launched her first handbag label, which quickly gained popularity. Encouraged by a friend, she officially launched Ximena Kavalekas, blending Italian craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic. Her hard work has been acknowledged with recognitions, including Vieuve Clicquot's “La Grande Dam'' prize and being honored in the “Miami Founders” campaign.
